Small natural marks can remain on the grid plate after finishing and are not signs that it has been used.

Keeping it in good condition: Use a dry method for the grid plate: support the underside while wiping from the centre towards the edge; keep every part of the stone completely dry. To reduce scratches and small chips, store the grid plate away from wet cups, plant pots and sinks rather than placing it in a damp room or busy drawer.
