The specification gives the moon dish plate an approximate measurement of 12cm, with minor outline variation possible.

Useful details

Material: Selenite

Colour: White

Approximate size: 12cm

Finish: Polished surface

Design: Moon form

Stone origin: Morocco

Place the plate on a sideboard or display shelf and make sure the bowl is not surrounded by heavy objects. With its listed measurement of 12cm, the open shape is better suited to a few light dry items than to a deep or heavy fill. A good position for the moon crystal dish plate is a spot where it will not be used as a weight without putting pressure on a thin edge. For a piece listed at 12cm, do not place the bowl beside a sink because water and damp contents can damage the selenite.

What may differ: The general shape of the moon dish plate can be repeated, but how the inside looks under side lighting cannot be copied exactly. Natural marks belong to the moon dish plate and should not automatically be treated as damage.

Cleaning and storage: Ordinary dust on the moon dish plate can be managed if you set the bowl on a folded cloth during cleaning; do not use toothpaste, oil or furniture polish on the surface. A dry, separate position is best, so keep the moon dish plate with the base fully supported and avoid direct heat or regular condensation.
