For safe use of the polished candle holders, let the holder cool before lifting it while keeping it away from paper, fabric and draughts. After the polished selenite candle holders has been used, place the candle in the recess while the stone is still cool while keeping it away from paper, fabric and draughts. For this candle holder, use only a candle that sits securely in the recess because larger candles may sit too close to the rim.

Natural variation: Changes in where clearer bands sit beside the candle opening are normal across separate examples of the polished candle holders candle holder.
