rough-orange-crystal
Rough Orange Crystal

The rough orange crystal has an irregular untreated outline, with open layers, uneven edges and changes in thickness visible across it. The listed colour is orange, with a raw natural surface.

Key information

Material: Selenite

Colour: Orange

Finish: Raw natural surface

Keep the raw piece in a shallow display tray so the irregular base remains stable. A tray also separates any loose grains from the furniture underneath. Lift the piece from underneath instead of holding a thin edge. Avoid pressing the raw face against furniture since the untreated layers can loosen or mark more easily than a polished surface. To move the rough orange selenite, check that the whole base or length is supported because the stone can chip after a hard knock.

Variation between pieces: Because each piece begins with a different section of natural selenite, the arrangement of open layers, thin sheets and irregular edges will vary from piece to piece. On the rough orange selenite, colour can gather more strongly in one section, as each piece is cut from a different section of stone.

Keeping it in good condition: For routine care of the rough orange stone, use a soft artist's brush to lift dust from gaps; keep oils, abrasive products and wet wipes away from the surface. For storage, keep the rough orange stone away from polished furniture and fabric loops rather than placing it in a damp room or busy drawer.

Delivery Information

We pack every order as carefully as we can.
Each order sent within 1 working day.
Each order delivered in 3 working days.
We want your crystal to arrive looking exactly as it should.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0604/3343/2822/files/26_26a5c381-c60b-4a90-96cd-bd30a6df29d0.jpg?v=1740311788
